About the role

The Customer Accounts team is looking for Customer Service Representatives for our Perception department.

By joining our team, you’ll become a true specialist in resolving issues and questions related to insurance premium payments. In addition, you’ll be able to advance your career within the department!

This position is available in our Laval (600, Lucien-Paiement) or Montreal (2020, boul. Robert-Bourassa) offices.

Start date: May 12, 2025

Your schedule:

  • During training (5 weeks):
  • > First 3 weeks: 35h/week. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • > Last 2 weeks: 40h/week. Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • After training: 40h/week, evening. Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

What you’ll do here:

  • Respond to telephone (inbound) and written inquiries from customers, brokers and other associates;
  • Be connected to the Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) system on a permanent or sporadic basis;
  • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate advice in a timely manner;
  • Follow customer account workflows while striving to meet key performance measures;
  • Carry out transactions necessary to support the resolution of incoming applications and payment arrangements;
  • Verify, add or update banking information, modify payment schedules, issue refunds as required, process cheque and stop payment requests;
  • Enhance the customer experience by promoting self-service tools and digital offerings specific to customer accounts;
  • Ensure accuracy and high work standards for all accounts receivable tasks.

What you bring to the table:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is mandatory. Requires answering calls and providing service to an English and French speaking clientele on a regular basis
  • Efficiency and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and outstanding customer service
  • Autonomy and team spirit
  • Ability to make decisions according to established criteria and to negotiate tactfully
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Ability to work with various computer systems
  • Any relevant training with experience in customer service will be considered for the position.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
